AGPA - Menu driven graphic interface for animal breeding

Follow the growth of your animals, control evolution of their weights, and use one of BALEA’s top quality solutions featuring the best quality/price ratio!

The graphic interface AGPA

Due to its ¼-page graphic screen and menu-driven software the interface is user friendly and can be used by operated with minimal training
Weighing data of up to 3000 animals can be stored. It integrates the battery powering the whole system and the charging unit
Four specialized outputs allow the AGPA to communicate easily:
With a portable computer prior to weighing which allows animal reference lists to be downloaded
With an additional equipment during the weighing process (electronic identification systems etc)
After weighing for transferring recorded data.

The load receivers:

Are available in numerous formats including: platform scales, weigh-bars or weigh-crates. A large selection of dimensions and weighing capacities are available which ensures the appropriate product is available for each application (animal variety, mobile use, permanent installation)
The load receiver includes a digital A/D converter that handles all calibration data; this result in any load receiver being able to be connected to any AGPA interface without technical intervention.

Communication :

Data transmission before and after a weighing session is completed through an RS232C connection into text format (ASCII). The communication software for the computer and the connecting cable are included in the equipment package.

The AGPA software:

Developed to pilot the weighing campaign and to assist the end-user to make appropriate decisions. Key features:
- The ability to work independently on nine groups of animals
- Animal format identifications are compatible with all categories of animal norms; number length is variable
- A Weight calculation is performed relating to an accuracy level defined by the animal family; the system considers movement of the animal during weighing and the animal variety on the load receiver (accuracy pre-set by animal family)
- The average daily profit is displayed and as well as error message if abnormality is detected
- Handles data such as animals sex, batch code, causes and dates of live stock removal and the weighing code
- The average weight by batch, or by animal sexis available at the end of the weighing session
- Add other identification codes

Animal electronic identification:

An interface is included, which allows you to connect easily an animal electronic identification system (TAG). The software is capable to convert between the animal number and its electronic identification number.
