Brief of the regulation on legal metrology
Some applications according to international regulations require the use of approved instruments (legal for trade, health, etc).
These instruments must be controlled at their first installation and periodically during their entire life, to guarantee the level of performance.
The owner (user) of the approved instrument is responsible of the application of the regulation (frequency and procedure according to the countries and regulations).
