drawing up quotes and contracts; the commercial management of the contract.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Balea\u2019s legitimate interest <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Article 6(1)(f)), with the possibility for the data subject to object at any time: commercial prospecting aimed at professionals (B2B), in particular by email, following an initial contact; the management and development of the customer relationship within our CRM tool; audience measurement and improvement of the Site; the management of job applications.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Consent of the data subject <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Article 6(1)(a)): subscription to and sending of the newsletter; They also have the right to withdraw their consent at any time where the processing is based on consent.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Client is nevertheless informed that the personal data collected is necessary for the performance of the Service, such that if they exercise their right to erasure of the said data, to object, or to restrict processing before the end of the contractual relationship, the Service cannot be performed.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These rights may be exercised:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by writing to the Data Protection Officer at gdpr@balea.com;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by completing the online &#8220;data subject rights&#8221; form<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or by post, by printing this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.balea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/for-rh-personal-rights-form-2026-en-r1.pdf\">form<\/a>.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Balea responds to the person who has exercised one of the above rights within one month of receiving the request. This period may nevertheless be extended by two months, taking into account the complexity and number of requests; in that event, Balea will inform the data subject of this extension within one month of receiving the request.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Where the data subject makes their request in electronic form, the information is provided electronically where possible, unless they request otherwise.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Should the data controller refuse to act on the request made by the data subject, it will state the reasons for that refusal.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The data subject has the option of lodging a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) or with the supervisory authority of the European Union Member State in which they reside, and of bringing legal proceedings.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Right of access: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">any data subject may ask the data controller to confirm whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed. If so, the data subject may obtain a copy of the personal data being processed as well as the following information: the purposes of the processing; the categories of personal data concerned; the recipients or categories of recipients of the data; where possible, the envisaged retention period or, where this is not possible, the criteria used to determine that period; where the personal data is not collected from the data subject, any available information as to its source; where applicable, the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and envisaged consequences of such processing for the data subject. The data controller may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs for any further copies requested (Article 15(3) of the GDPR). Where requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, the data controller may either charge a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information, or refuse to act on the requests (Article 12(5) of the GDPR).<\/span><\/p><p><b>Right to rectification: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">any person whose personal data is processed has the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them, and to have incomplete data completed where the purpose of the processing so requires.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Right to erasure: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">any person whose personal data is processed has the right to obtain from the data controller the erasure of the said data in the following cases: where the data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; where the data subject withdraws the consent on which the processing was based and there is no other legal basis for the processing; where the processing is based on the legitimate interest of the data controller and the data subject has objected in the absence of compelling legitimate grounds; where the processing is carried out for prospecting purposes or for profiling related to such prospecting and the data subject has objected; where the data has been unlawfully processed; where the data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation under Union law or the law of the Member State to which the data controller is subject.
