Committed Teams

LENNY 's story

Originally from Martinique, I built my career path around a passion for mathematics and data, starting with a MIAD bachelor’s degree at the University of the Antilles and leading to a Dual Master’s in Statistics & Data Science in Montpellier. It was in this context that I joined Balea on a work-study program in 2022. 

What immediately appealed to me was the ambition of the technical projects: designing optimization algorithms for logistics is an area where models have a concrete and measurable impact. From the start, I was trusted and given the freedom to propose, test, make mistakes, and learn. 

This dynamic made the transition to a permanent contract in 2023 obvious and natural. Today, I continue to evolve these solutions by integrating the latest advancements, notably in generative AI and machine learning, with a strong desire to push the boundaries of what can be done with data in our sector.

THOMAS 's story

I started my career at BALEA in 2012 as an assembly technician. The family-like atmosphere that characterizes the company, along with the trust placed in me, allowed me to quickly develop my skills and gain a strong mastery of my trade. This evolution led me to take charge of the assembly and metrology workshop in 2017.

The company’s constant growth then offered me new career advancement opportunities. Since 2023, I have been the Launch Scheduler and Finished Products Quality Controller. This role allows me to leverage my field experience in production planning and monitoring while ensuring the compliance and quality of products leaving our workshops.

I am proud to grow within an innovative, human-sized company whose equipment is present on every continent. Contributing every day to its development and international reach is a true source of motivation and professional satisfaction for me.

MÉLANIE 's story

After pursuing a logistics-oriented educational path, I obtained a professional bachelor’s degree in this field, which allowed me to develop my skills through experiences in several sectors: aeronautics, textiles, and manufacturing.

Today, I am a Procurement and Flow Manager within Balea’s production unit. This diversity of experiences has given me a comprehensive view of the production chain, perfectly balancing logistical rigor, anticipation, and proximity to the field.

For me, Balea is much more than a career step: it’s an environment where I’ve found the perfect balance between logistical expertise and a passion for the trade.
