One of the major challenges of logistics automation is the coexistence of heterogeneous equipment : goods-to-man systems, AMR robots, weighing stations, each with its own protocol and its own execution logic. Without a unified control layer, this equipment operates in silos and the warehouse never realizes the full potential of its investments.
SOLEA solves this through third-party equipment control : the software takes over execution and drives external equipment as if it were natively part of the Balea system.
A concrete example: Balea Station + AMR robot
In this scenario, the operator works from a Balea Station. SOLEA identifies the item to pick and the required quantity, then sends the instruction directly to the AMR robot so it brings the right bin at the right moment. The operator is guided at every step from the Station, which becomes the central control point of the operation. The robot is no longer a standalone unit to supervise separately. It becomes an executing arm driven by SOLEA’s intelligence.
